Reading Award

M has been working really hard on his reading. He has also been meeting with his teacher to make sure he is on the right level since he started school late in the year. When he started he was at a reading level 1. Here in TX the state wants kindergartners to be a level 2 by the end of the year. His school wants him to be a level 3. Well after a couple of months of working hard at home and with his teacher, M is now at a level 4!!!!!!! We are so proud of him!!!!!!! He has really worked hard for this. We enjoy listening to him read the picture scriptures and his new favorite Hop on Pop. So to celebrate his achievement we went as a family to Cold Stone and let him pick out what he wanted. His choice.... mint and cotton candy, with sprinkles.... go figure!
